Despite one of the best casts in a movie for quite some time this fails in all the obvious ways. I must emphasise how good the cast is. Emily Mortimer, Jean Reno, Alfred Molina, Andy Garcia, Jeremy irons, John Cleese, Lily Tomlin, and of course Steve Martin, each of these actors have been in a least one if not more of my favourite movies. This does help the movie a bit, because all of the laughs are in the dialogue and delivery. All the physical jokes which of course there are a lot fall flat and are quite stupid. It is better than the first movie, and this is probably because Beyonce has nothing to do with it. Too bad that the Pink Panther remakes were not approached with a dryer sense of humour, because in this cast there are some masters. (SPOILER)..............(IF ANYONE REALLY CARES ENOUGH)......... The end wedding scene was absolutely ridiculous. Why would you have the chief police inspector marry you if the pope was attending your wedding?
