Banana a Day - Boyz N The Hood

I remember watching this for the first time in a hotel room in Vancouver and it had significant weight. After watching it again, aside from the clothes and the music the film has aged well. Its too bad that none of the main actors were able to keep up their careers because here they all looked like they would be stars. Personally I feel that Laurance Fishburne is able to make all of his characters relatable and timeless and he accomplishes that here. The directing is great as well as the cinematography. There are a few parts in the story that I wasn't sure really made sense, but these are few and far between. I feel that this is a movie that throughout time will be considered a pinnacle 90s movie.
