Fred Dekker's yet to be released on DVD first film has everything that is expected from a horror movie send-up. There is a mash up of genres, with Dekker paying tribute to tons of different horror films and directors. It is fun to watch if you know the majority of the references, but even if you don't you will still enjoy it. All of the special effects are good and it all has that 80s charm. It is interesting that a movie that is celebrating different horror movies would eventually get payed the ultimate tribute by the film Slither. I would say that Slither was 60% inspired by Night of the Creeps.
