Box Office Review - Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

The best thing that I can say about this movie is that Kristen Kreuk really hit the weights hard because her legs are super muscular, good for her. As for the movie it was terrible. Basing a movie off the video game franchise Street Fighter failed in 1994, and here it is just as bad. This is basically like beating a dead horse with a bulldozer. It is surprising that this film was released in the theatres, and not sent straight to DVD. The acting is very bad especially Chris Klein (playing an Interpol agent) who must have been given the script for Point Break instead of the real script, because his character is like the little brother of Johnny Utah. Seeing as this is a fighting movie I will forgive the bad acting, but as for the fight scenes they are a disgrace. The choreography is not very well done and the editors must have realised that, because all the scenes are very a short. I really hope that after this movie anymore thought of making more films of this video game franchise are put to rest. (It is ridiculous that in the films poster and trailer Kristen Kreuk is not shown as being the main character, as if 20th Century Fox was worried that if fanboys found out they would be watching a female lead they wouldn't go see it.)
