2006 film that is a thorough and enjoyable documentation of the Superman mythology from the beginning of the comic to Superman Returns. There are lots interviews with those involved with Superman, from comic book writers to actors and directors. Narrated by Kevin Spacey I found that I learned a lot of stuff that I didn't know about the man from Krypton. For example there was a Superman musical at one time as well as a failed series entitled Super Dog that had actors wearing massive dog heads that never got passed its pilot. My favorite part of the movie is a quote by Bryan Singer when he says that even though Superman has been portrayed in some bad comics, TV series, and films the character is strong enough that he will never become irrelevant.
