A Sci-Fi film that deals with an obsession that we are not alone in the universe. This movie is amazingly entertaining and a joy to watch. Richard Dreyfuss gives a great performance.The story is very well told and it is one of Spielberg's best movies.For a movie that is thirty two years old it does not show its age. I was surprised at how much time is spent developing Dreyfuss's character and this was a wise choice. The journey that he ends up going through is one that I want to experience again, and again.
