Banana A Day - Wristcutters: A Love Story

A road trip movie with dead people is the best way to describe this movie. Basically, if you commit suicide you get sent to a place that is exactly like earth, except for a few certain differences. No one can smile, and everything is dreary and depressing. The three protagonists in the film meet up, and then attempt to find who is in charge. The film is the perfect low budget film. It never tries to do something it can't, and as a result we get the best movie possible for a million dollars. The world that is created feels like a fantasy world, without the use of special effects. The majority is shot in the desert with lots of busted furniture and garbage around, and its amazing how well the film transports you to this world. The acting is great by everyone, and anytime Tom Waits shows up in a movie is a bonus.
