Box Office Review - Fast & Furious

This film is basically what you would expect. It is exactly like the other three and if you enjoyed those then you will enjoy this. Another similarity to the other films is that this is not very good. Technically the movie is well made and set up to make money. It is directed by Justin Lin who also did Tokyo Drift, the best of the quadrilogy. The driving in this movie is very boring. Why any of these scenes need CG is beyond me. What a stunt driver can do with a car is more impressive than a CG car driving under another CG car flipping over it. The acting in this is what can be expected by everyone. Paul Walker is Paul Walker and Vin Diesel is Vin Diesel. The story is absurd, but what would you expect. If you are a fan of the series, nothing I will say will prevent you from watching this, and you will probably enjoy the movie. If you just want to see a car movie, rent The Driver.(Watch the video of Ken Block below to see better driving in four minutes than in the entire Fast & Furious franchise).
