What I Watched Last Week

Rolling Thunder

One of Quentin Tarantino's favorite revenge flicks. It is an enjoyable film, and the end is great. This is not available on DVD

Zombieland

The Blu-Ray was released last Tuesday. This is the third time I have seen it and it's enjoyment level holds up.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

The first time I have watched this classic film. There are some great visuals in this, but the story is a little lacking. I think remaking this is valid.

Demon Knight

A Tales From the Crypt film that is great. Billy Zane gives

an over the top performance. This guy deserves more roles

The Lovely Bones

The second viewing was more satisfying then the first. Stanley Tucci's performance is great.

Hackers

This is a severely dated movie starring Angelina Jolie. The 90sness of the film is almost headache inducing. Not recommended unless it is on TV and your really bored.

Up In The AIR

Everything felt on the first viewing was solidified on this second viewing. Jason Reitman is a great director, and Up In The Air is one of the best of last year.

Friday the 13th (1980)

I have tried many times to watch this but have never gotten past a half an hour in. I much prefer when the series got less serious, but this is still a solid film. There are some great gore effects and the end decapitation is the best.
